Quality Management System
Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance has certified Amreli Steels’ manufacturing facility for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. We provide a 100% quality guarantee on our products and we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Our quality team goes through regular training on the manufacturing process. The team continuously monitors the production process at each and every stage to ensure that the best quality finished products are manufactured in our plant. Meticulous quality management is a way of life at Amreli Steels, because we firmly believe that “our strength is our quality”.
Testing Facilities
At Amreli Steels great emphasis is placed on rigid quality control policies. Our testing facilities include electro-hydraulic universal testing machines with testing capacities of 1000 KN and 2000 KN respectively. We also possess Extensometer which is used to determine elongation at maximum strength. Our labs are also fully equipped to perform bending tests of rebars and determine metallographic evolution of the material. The staff of the testing facility is professionally trained by foreign experts to use the machines and deliver accurate results. The company maintains a modern testing laboratory where each heat produced is tested against International Standards (ASTM A-615, ASTM A-706 & BS 4449:2005).
Both destructive and non-destructive techniques are used to characterize materials for their mechanical and physical properties. Universal Tensile Strength testing machines are used for these purposes which are calibrated using standards traceable to National and International Standards.
